Building a brand.
Starting a movement.
How I helped an emerging nonprofit find its voice, build its marketing foundation, and launch a fully enrolled program.
Soul Seated was ready for its next chapter: evolving its early youth programming into an Immersion Program for emerging adults. It needed a clearer position, a more cohesive brand, and a marketing foundation to support the launch.
I led that transformation, shaping the brand strategy and building the team, channels, and systems to bring it to market. From positioning through participant recruitment, I connected the vision to the execution, helping launch a fully enrolled program with more than 100 people waiting for the next session.

A clear position.
A new direction.
The work began with a full review of the market and the existing brand. I developed the positioning, language, and creative explorations needed to give the organization a clearer, more relevant presence.
That process informed the brand direction we ultimately launched: updated colors, a refreshed logo, new guidelines, and a foundation for consistent communication across every channel.
Market review and early positioning work established the questions the new brand needed to answer.

Research became a visual hypothesis: a purple-led direction explored through cultural references and brand applications.

The selected direction became a shared system for the team, defining brand personality, identity, and the principles behind the design.

One brand.
Every point of connection.
I built the channel presence and marketing materials needed to introduce the refreshed brand, explain the program, and help young adults take the next step toward signing up.

A rebuilt digital presence brought the new positioning and visual identity into a place where people could learn about the organization and program.

Traditional marketing
Printed recruitment pieces and program materials translated the brand into clear, tangible invitations to participate.

Email & CRM
I built the CRM infrastructure for tracking, monitoring, and communication, giving the team a system to support recruitment and stay connected with participants.

The team behind
the launch.
Alongside the brand and channel work, I built the marketing team, hiring a designer, lifecycle manager, intern, and videographer.
As brand owner, I led the direction across disciplines and connected the work to the recruitment goal, from the big-picture positioning to the day-to-day execution.
A relaunched brand.
A full program.
A growing audience.
The marketing effort I led helped turn a little-known brand and program into a launched eight-week experience with 40 young adults enrolled and more than 100 on the waitlist for the next session.

Social
I created the social channels, developed their visual and messaging approach, and monitored activity as part of the broader recruitment effort.
